HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON PRINTING

Today I talk about How to save on printing, which helps your wallet AND the environment.

• Buy refilled ink cartridges, they are cheaper, and the old cartridges are reused, so there is less non-biodegradable waste going to landfill.
• Where do you write down your “little” notes? You could use your phone or your computer.
• If you print a lot, you could cut up the used printed paper and use the empty backside as your notepad. Of course, only if the printout is nonconfidential!
• Talking about writing notes, use biodegradable pens made from recycled materials.
• Buy recycled paper, too! It is cheaper and better for our environment.
• If suitable, print double-sided rather than on two sheets of paper. Just take care if you want to turn the page on the long edge or the short edge.

Being sustainable in your business is becoming the standard these days, and that is good! It is not something “nice to do”, but it is necessary; it can boost your brand, attract customers and staff, even investors, while at the same time reducing your overall costs and therefore increasing profitability.
 
It demonstrates leadership, ethical leadership, and that is what we need!
